Get to know the two partners:

Jim Defreitas has been servicing small corporation I.T. needs since 1996. He is the cofounder of Substorm Technologies and has been serving southern Nevada proudly since 2000. Substorm Technologies has always had a work ethic to go above and beyond for their client’s. Jim was born and raised in East Providence, Rhode Island and made the move to Las Vegas in 1994.  He holds his A+ certification.

Matthew Cochrane has been servicing small business computer networks since 1999, servicing small businesses in Reno, NV up until moving out to Portland, Maine in 2019. Once in Maine, Matthew sought to bring honest, affordable IT support without costly and expensive contracts to small businesses in southern Maine. Matthew achieved his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification at the age of 16, and has gone on to study Computer Science at the University of Nevada, Reno, and continued his education with additional certifications such as Microsoft Certified IT Professional: System Administrator and CompTIA Security+ certifications. Matthew lives with his Corman Shepherd “Scruffy” in South Portland, Maine.
